Investigator Initiated-Sponsored Research is defined by Takeda as unsolicited pre/non-clinical, clinical, outcomes, or disease state research studies related to a Takeda compound or supported therapeutic area. The investigator, or the institution (academic, private, or governmental), serves as the Sponsor for which Takeda provides support.

Takeda supports Investigator Initiated – Sponsored Research that fosters scientific exchange through clinical research; enriches basic/clinical science, health economics knowledge, and scientific education; and enhances patient care through research, publications, and education.
